I think Mir would come out on top. Not just because I am a supporter of Mir, but because his Submission are that nasty. Chuck is very hard to take down, but I think Mir is good enough and strong enough to get it to the ground.

Mir via Sub - First Round. Although Chuck could easily win, it really depends on how Mir takes the fight and if he can get him down, without gassing.

Right, because CHuck loses to submissions all the time.

Right, because Mir is a much better wrestler than Randy Couture, who had issues taking Chuck down, and when he did he couldn't keep him down!

Seriously Chuck is a nightmare matchup for Mir. He will have a weight advantage but Mir's sloppy wrestling won't be able to make much good use of it. Let's not forget Mir is 260 because he's FAT, not because he's big and muscular. I think Chuck is about as tall as Mir. hey would fight at HW or catch at best and the weight difference won't be significant enough to make a difference for Mir.

What? Did you see Mir vs. Lesnar? He was fat? He's back to pretty close to what he was pre accident. He's a LOT bigger than Chuck, and Mir has the strongest grip of any submission fighter in MMA. Chuck could catch Mir standing for sure, but Mir could also use his 50 lb. weight advantage to drag Chuck down and lock something on.

Please someone with better computer skills than mine (which is almost anyone) post a picture of Mir from the weigh in before the Lesnar fight. He looked to be in pretty damn good shape to me.

Mir is much larger then Couture. He can use his size and strength which would keep Liddell down. I also said Chuck could easily win, so don't just takes parts out. I don't think Mir would be dominated, especially against the Chuck that is fighting now. Stop hugging nuts.

Chuck has never been submitted. As good as Mir is with submission, Chuck will get out before Mir could set up one.

I think Mir has more chance in winning if he works on his striking game and boxing skills. 80% of Chuck losses were from KO.
