Jacare vs. Mayhem II

apparently Mousasi is vacating the Dream middleweight title and these two will hook up again to crown the new champion. sounds awesome to me

Their first fight was pretty good with Jacare earning an easy UD. I don't see any reason to pick Mayhem is the rematch. It was pretty one-sided last time and Jason's been out of action lately so I pick Jacare by UD again.

Well Mayhem is fighting Kala Hose on saturday I believe so he will have some recent ring experience. I completely agree with your outcome though. But a Mayhem fight is always fun to watch

I think jacare won it pretty convincingly, but in all fairness to mayhem, jacare took his back most of the time and didn't do a damn thing with it.

I agree. Miller defended Souza's submission attempts well in their first fight but if I remember right he couldn't put together any offense of his own. That being said, if Miller can't keep the fight standing Jacare should win by decision.

I think Jacare would take this easily even though I really like mayhem. Jacare has much better ground with strong takedowns but the thing is his quality of training partners. Jacare can get training partners with better ground skills than mayhem but for mayhem to get somebody like jacare is much more difficult. I don't think mayhem's standup is good enough to make a difference here as jacare has decent power and very aggressive takedown setups. Also, Kala is a completely different fighter than jacare and his ground skills cannot even come close to comparing. With those two, Kala is like a day one white belt compared to an average black belt

I'm can't help wondering what Mayhems gonna pull out for his entrance this time lol but should be an interesting rematch, have to agree with those above that I can't see Mayhem taking it but never count that crazy bar-steward out

Mayhem looked complacent in his last fight with Jacare. I like both fighters and don't care who wins but I would like to see a better effort out of Mayhem this time around win or lose. Last time he played to Jacares strengths by grappling with him. This time I would like to see it stay on the feet for a little while and then I'd like to see Mayhem use some of that vaunted wrestling he surely picked up during his tenure at team quest and not just try to out jiu-jitsu the jiu-jitsu master.

Miller will win IMO, i picked jacare to win the first fight, now that mayhem has a measure he knows to avoid the ground and will keep it standing most of the time to earn a victory.
