interesting note on Lombard, Yoon, Nastula

Together, these 3 'non japanese' judoka have a combined record of 1-9.

The 3 'japanese judoka' (Yosh, Nak, and Tak) have a combined record of 20-12-1.

Japanese judo-figthers get their fair share of cans and silly matches, while Nastula has had a rough road and Yoon didn't have it easy either (Saku and Rampage are nothing to sneeze at).

i dont like lombard.

i dont see how this guy is a judo fighter. he just shoots in all the time. i dont understand why anybody would throw away all their training and just do shoots. judo has double leg but it's not a judo thing and most judo guys suck at it compared to wrestlers

Yes Lombard is really built like a wrestler. But they've all faced tough competition (maybe not Lombard that much).

Dong beat the hell out of Takimoto and lost an obviously biased decision.

Takimoto is actually 0 - 5 in Pride, Henry Miller also won their fight but the biased decision went to Takimoto.

he's built lke a wrestler. so what? i find it ironic/funny/disappointing that such an accomplished judo guy doesnt actually use the shit he learned and just shoots all the time. even in the clinch he goes for non-judo takedowns.

he should build a time machine go back in time and be an accomplished wrestler instead of a judoka
