Pride was trying to help Hunt by facing him with fighters which are more stand up oriented (after his loss against Yoshida).. but that proved to be bad thing.
It would be better for him that he sooner realized how he lack lot of in ground skills, and that he have to work harder on it.

Personally, I like him very much, especially since he is actually great stand up fighter, who wants to do something in MMA too.
But he lost at least a year, trusting in his non existent ground skills!

I hope he will have enough motives to regroup and to really start to practice ground techniques with some good trainer...

Props to Barnett for fighting a smart fight beacuse the chances of anyone beating Hunt standing are slim to none.

LMAO at ppl who thought Hunt would have Nog.

I can't see how Hunt can be condsidered a top 5 HW with a performance like that.
I'm glad Hunt is out of the OW GP, it's clear he didn't belong in the top remaining few.

WAR BARNETT!!!!
im a huge mark hunt fan but i deffinetly agree hunt looked like a beached whale and i cant see him even coming close to mixing it with the likes of fedor, nog etc i think hunt really needs to have a good think as to whether it would be better for him to head back to k1 where he knows the fight will be kept standing.
