Liddell v's Evens at the o2 arena

Hi there i'm a new comer to mixed martial arts but I have been well and truely bitten by the bug in a short space of time. I've only been interested in it for about 6 or 7 months and in a short space of time i've learnt alot about it and still finding out new things every day. At first I just wanted to see guys 'bang' and looked out for fighters like Forrest Griffin and Chuck Liddell however now I appreciate how important Wrestling and Jiu Jitsu are the groud game has become exciting to me. This is one of the great things about this sport the way anyone can beat anyone and a Fight can end in about a Million different ways. It's a thinking mans sport and provides me with an excitement that no other sport can (Not even Football/ Soccer)

Anyway Liddell v's Evans is my first ever ufc or even mma event in general i'm really looking forward to it. I have two tickets and i'm still not sure who I shall give the other one too? My girlfriend thinks it's barbaric so I could take her and try to change her opinion (mind it's always an excuse I can have to get out of the house "Sorry love just going round my mates to watch the ufc, be back around 3ish so it'll be a late one; dont wait up") Or take one of my Boxing purist friends and try to convert him to the Sport. I'm pretty sure anyone who sits down and really watches a Fight will see how strategic, Technical and exciting it is will be bitten pretty quickly.

Anyway seeing a Legend like Chuck Liddell fight in my first event is pretty special he was the one name I kept hearing before I actually got into this Sport, so although since getting into it i've become fond of other Fighters such as Gsp and Rampage (Bisping as well of course but mainly just because he's from old blighty and lives about an hour and a half away from me, that said i do enjoy watching him fight and think he gets way to much stick) Chuck was always the one I looked at as the big name of the Sport and he still is very exciting to watch.

So my first event at the 02 Arena june 7th, can't wait.

Yeah have a good one mate. I was at 75 and it was an excellent night. I always wanted to see Rampage Henderson and Cro-cop fight live and now i can say i did. It's a great arena. Shame you don't get to see Shogun but i'm sure you'll have a good time.

If i was you i would leave the girlfriend at home.
