i dont necessarily think fedor is overrated but people on sherdog set him apart in such a way like hes a god is just insane.
if he signed with an org where he actually fought multiple times a year and top competion then id have no doubts about him but at the rate he's going now i dont get caught up in the hype. There's fighters out there who fight on a regular basis, fighting top comp, and yes sometimes they lose. oh well..
it happens, and itll happen to fedor also, given the right opponent.
He never fights. Hes been champ for six years they say. But how special is that really when he hardly fights.
If he fought more fights he would probably lose a few, but he would still be a good fighter in peoples eyes. He just needs to compete more often.
Of course fedor is overrated. Some people actually think he could beat Bruce Lee in a real fight. So obviously some people have built Fedor up above his station.
No, he's not even close to being overrated. He *is* in a class by himself. Barnett, Nog, CC, all fall into a tier under his. Just as all MWs fall into a tier under Anderson Silva. Just the way it is.
(except unlike Silva, Fedor has no actual losses)
