The fight game is about over dramatizing reality (think about it, no groin kicks, small join manipulation, all the most effective "real fighting moves" are illegal, this is about sport, but they hype it like a real fight). In over dramatic sports or activities like martial arts, the champions are ALWAYS overrated.

I do think that sometimes he is excited or winded from body shots. He has a huge drive to win - and when he sees an opening he puts everything he has into it.
