Mir's got the edge in reach and standup. I also think he's got the edge in power, but I could be persuaded that Monson's on par there. I also give Mir the edge in BJJ technique.

Anything can happen, but I'm inclined to think that Mir's reach and striking give him the KO/TKO or the chance to daze Jeff and catch him in a sub.

Everyone on here discredits monson for some reason. In mma mir would take it. In pure grappling monson wins it. Mir wins in mma because he is much better standing. In pure grappling monson is a kingpin. The guy won a gold medal in adcc. The one time I saw mir in a straight up grappling match he lost on points to babalu.
