Dude he recovered and Kicked your boy's ass. I'm surprised you even logged in today. Kongo was finished if there was 20 seconds left in the round he couldn't even get up off the mat. Out Cold literally please rephrase this BS.
BTW how'd that av bet turn out Scotty?

1. We knew Kongo had no ground game.
2. We now know Cain has terrible standup
3. We now know Cain can't finish from the mount, from the back, from the side, aka any position in MMA
4. We now know Cain has no power at all
He will be chewed up and spit out by any top 5 guy.

Same goes for Cain. Kongo has over 20 MMA fights and pro kickboxing experience, he is one of the most feared strikers in the heavyweight division...Cain meanwhile had 5 (now 6) fights and came from a wrestling background, how the fuck do you expect him to dominate on the feet? Because Joe Rogan hyped him up in his last win and made him out to be the heir to Semmy Schilt's throne??? The guy has a great chin, clearly as he took a few bombs from Kongo and not only survived but went on the offense immediately with takedowns. He picked Kongo up and slammed him multiple times, dragged him around and out clinched him the entire fight yet still looked like he had a few more rounds in the tank. Considering his biggest test so far (in my opinion) came against Jake O'Brien I think this was a massive step up for Cain and while he hit a few speed bumps along the way he showed he is a better MMA fighter than Checik Kongo and deserves to be considered in the top 10 UFC heavyweights. If a title shot comes his way don't expect him to pass it up, who would? But don't for one minute think this guy is gonna stop evolving, title shot or not Cain is one of the brightest talents in the sport and the people who shit on him are frankly dickheads who have no sense. There you go, rant over.

Great post. I'm bumping this shit every time Scott Newman(and the rest of the haters) start to type.

Kongo took three minutes to get off the canvas. The fight was a TKO in the 4th if it would have been for the title. What did Kongo prove today ...that he can get his ass whooped for 14:30 out of a 15 minute fight. This guy would have gotten a title shot if he beat Cain. I can't believe this hating.

where is "HI SCOTT NEWMAN" to defend Kongo?
I agree with TS. imo, Herring would have been more interesting. At least he has a better ground game than Kongo.

Anyone with half a brain who had ever seen Kongo on the ground knew Cain would run away with this fight.
I posted this yesterday:

I think, stylistically, this is a perfect fight for Cain. I hope when he makes Kongo look like the amateur he is on the mat, his hype train doesn't get too out of control...anything less would be a poor performance in my eyes.

Are Cain and AKA delusional?
Kongo has no ground game, he never has and frankly, at 34 years old, it's unlikely he ever will. Anything less than total positional domination from such a decorated wrestler as Cain would have been a poor performance. I'm actually a bit disappointed that, outside of dominating positionally with his wrestling, Cain wasn't able to do much. I was hoping to see if he had some kind of offensive submission game, and we saw that he was in big trouble on the feet.
