Melvin????? get fuckin real. I laugh at anyone who knocks Anderson's striking, but uses Melvin's for trying to prove their case. Anderson Silva would tool Melvin any where.

Don't know why so many people are using Remy as an example of how Melvin would do against Silva! Remy's hands are poor, he has no power so much of that height and reach advantage doesn't exist. Anderson would be an entirely different prospect and I think he'd tool a wild brawler like Melvin with his long powerful straights and pin point accuracy. An easy victory for Anderson in MMA and a tough one in K1 but he takes both.

OMG this is why I'm embarassed to be called an Anderson Silva fan these days, these fanatic zealots are so bad they actually think Anderson Silva is better than Remy Bonjasky at striking.

I still think Anderson would pick him apart! Anderson's chin is great and Melvin's gas tank is definatley suspect!

Maybe because hes 6'4 and weighs more than Silva

Also his hands used to set up his kicks, and they are also better, just doesnt use them as offense

Those are the same guys that were saying Liddell could be top 5 in K-1 before he lost to Rampage. Don't worry, once Anderson loses he will no longer be revered and whoever beat him will be the greatest thing since sliced bread.

I think Anderson can hang with him on the feet, but the big difference is the ground game. I don't think Melvin has one, while Anderson is pretty fucking solid. Anderson probably takes this by sub

Fun to Watch

He is definitely fun to watch but I'm not sure if he has the tools to finish someone like Anderson. He has a tendency to gas ,but his striking is dangerous. I would like to see how well he does against top notch ground guys.
