Okay. Quick update and a couple comments.

1. We've talked it over and we're gonna go ahead and enable the postcount here on good faith. Regardless of some arguments to the contrary there was more than a little postwhoring going on in the original language threads, I should know because I was called in to delete a bunch of it on more than one occasion.

2. The trade-off with the postcount being enabled means they'll be no tolerance for postwhoring or trolling here. This is NOT Off-Topic, it's not an off-shoot of Off-Topic, and no special Off-Topic leniency applies here. It's a courtesy forum we wanted to provide for foreign speakers to engage in legitimate discussion. That's it. If you're postwhoring or trolling here you'll be carded and permanently blocked from the forum. If postwhoring gets out of hand, the postcount will be disabled just as it was in the pics and multi forum.

3. We're not subdividing the forum into language specifics and we're not adding a division of mod-linguists to the staff. The forum will have a couple guys watching over the action just like in the technique forums, beyond that it will be up to guys to help monitor your respective languages.

4. For English speaking guys who just want to post here and stir shit, see Kimo's thread.
