Need some Polish 101 if you can help me out, please

The cleaning crew at my building is Polish and I need a few nice casual things to say to them. You know, like "Good evening, how are you?"....."Hello my friend"...whatever. They speak almost no English so it's hard to be friendly outside of waving.

There are translation services online but I trust you guys more and you can help me with the pronunciation. Any suggestions?

i didn't say you needed to know how to spell it!! ;-)

Krakow was great! I spent New Years 07/08 there and it was insane!!
At one point I truely feared for my life.

If I weren't so big I easily would have been crushed in the crowd. It was the first time I literally had no control over my body.

I was there for 8 days then hopped a train to Budapest.

Overall trip was 2 months....Frankfurt to Krakow to Budapest to Bratislava to Prague to Berlin to Frankfurt.

Also.....I won't say the Polish women were the most beautiful but easily they were the most fun. We partied at a place called Frantic almost every night!

I can help you with that.

Czesc: tch (kinda like ch in choke, but more harsh) - e (like in pen) - sh (like in wash) - ch (again like in choke)
dzień dobry: this ones a bit harder. dz is kind of like the J in Jew, ien is like "yien" with the n like in January. Dobry is simple: dobr and then the y like the I in tit.
dobry wieczór: again dobry, then veh-choor.
jak się masz: yak shye mash. Kind of like what Borat says.

I fail to see a correlation. Another good analogy for "dz" would be the G in Germany.
