anyone from ISRAEL???!!!!
I'm from Michigan, USA, and I've been training in Krav Maga for a little less than half a year, but I have a background in the martial arts and MMA. I'm going to be in Israel for 3+ months over the summer at an Israeli government office (no specifics). I'll either be spending time between Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, or in Herzliya. Are there any Krav Maga gyms with good reputations (a big problem in the states is the "commercialization" of krav maga- inexperienced instructors) in those areas? I could only find limited information online. Any info. is appreciated!
Also, does anyone know the laws surrounding who can learn the different types of krav maga? By this I mean, here in the USA, I learn the watered down civilian version. But I was wondering, if I have a governmental position and martial arts background, would I be eligible to learn any of the more advanced forms, such as those used by security services or the military??? Cause if I could, that'd be awesome!
any information, EVEN from people not in Israel but who know stuff about this is welcome
Thanks/Shalom in advance.
