Though the Akiyama support is great and he does have an unparrelled sense of style, lets us not forget that the real reason he deserves his praises is because he is a very talented prospect. Definitely badass, but very unproven, which is why I'm extremely dissapointed he will be fighting someone who doesn't really deserve to be called a serious mma fighgter.

I would like nothing more than to seee Akiyama become one of the best in the world but stunts like this impede that process. Maybe Tamura did drop out, even so I'm sure there are plenty of legit mws why could have filled in. It's a shame that Dream and Trigg had a falling out because going against a great, experienced mma wrestler we could have really seen where Akiyama stands

Dream or any Japanese org for that matter won't mind anyways. As long as he's winning they will continue to market the cash cow or should I say sex cow that is Akiyama. He is pretty much their most marketable fighter now.

Besides, Akiyama isn't the only one to receive such give me fights, it happens all the time over there. I still want to see Aki flatten Misaki's flat face though, too bad he had to run away...

akiyamas return fight in korea was hero's lowest rated show ever although it was on delay heavily edited ]more than usual i believe hero's korea was only 1 hour long and it aired at midnight
