I think it was because Belcher appeared to be getting the better of Akiyama in the stand up, which I thought Belcher was doing better, but Akiyama was hanging right up there with him in the stand up. He was doing everything else better then Belcher was.

it was a great fight, i was nervous as hell for the decision, but it was the right one.

akiyama needs to work on his cardio and blocking lowkicks, no doubt, but he did great, and he'll continue to do great.
