Will anybody care after Fedor's next loss

If Fedor goes down to defeat in the next year or so will he stop being such a hot commodity in the MMA world because if you look at Vandela Silva's career nobodies giving Silva much credit for his past victories.

It happens with every fighter that loses their mystique. Lots of people like myself are already pissed he hasn't fought top competition in damn near 3 years and counting.

When he loses, it will mean nothing, really.

There are already a ton of people saying he's over rated and ranked too high and blah blah blah because he hasnt fought the best.
The only change will be hat the part about having not fought the best will turn into "He just got beat by so and so who lost to so and so who Fedor beat"....the haters will always be there.

Yeah if he loses, people will make threads how his overrated and that will eventually all die down and he won't be talked about as much

1 loss means nothing in MMA. Real fans accepts that everyone and anyone can lose. A streak of losses usually indicates a problem though.

What Fedor has done can't be undone...It can only wind down if he gets 3+ losses in a row which seems very unlikely at this point.

Over all the years that Fedor has been on top of the Heavyweight division you would think that more competitive opposition would have emerged

Fedor has beat who he has to beat. But the talent just isnt there. There are good fighters. But no extraordiany talent.

Yes, the following people will care:

1. Dana White
2. People with brand loyalty to the UFC, most of them people with a mind-bending capacity to simply ignore the fact that Fedor has beaten the UFC "interim" champ both times they fought.
3. People who hate or dislike success by Russians, Eastern Europeans, Europeans or non-Americans in general
4. People who feel the man is over-worshiped
5. People who worship Fedor and believe he can not be beaten
5. Vladimir Putin
6. Jean Claude Vandamme
