he hasn't fought anyone great in ages. and many of the guys he beat have faired decently in UFC, at best.

Anderson Silva, the way he fights right now, is the P4P GOAT, period.

I have worked with fighters for years, and not "for the UFC." Dana has an opinion, so what?

Anderson is the most skilled fighters, period. THe reason 185 isn't good is because he has WALKED through it. No one has owned a division like this, and there's not even someone on the rise who can challenge him.

James Irvin isn't a challenge? Really? Anderson cannot overpower him, and he's a Muay Thai fighter. HE'S A CHALLENGE.

He's also bigger than Silva, and may be able to stay off the ground.

He shouldn't have to fight the BEST 205er; this is a great challenge, and will say a lot.

I agree Silva is p4p #1 atm, but when Fedor fights Barnett in october he will take the #1 post again. The GOAT of MMA gets what he deserves once again.

You're confused TS. P4P has nothing to do with fighting people bigger than you. The criteria is, if all of these fighters each weighed one pound, than the fights would be based completely on skill set. Use your imagination. If there were no size advantages who would beat who based only on skill and technique? Your answer still may be the same depending on who you worship as a fighter. But it sounds like your idea of P4P is a little off.
