ive been on other boards(whether it be cars, sports, other hobbies) and do not see the magnitude of hostility and confrontation attitude i see on here? perhaps it all has to do with the nature of the what we're posting about? we're all passionate about mma but cant we all get along and be more respectful than passing judgement so quickly?
and yes, im a white belt but have followed mma since the inception of the ufc. ive seen the changes and excited about the next couple years when we really see the sport become mainstream and evolve into something huge. hopefully, fighters will be compensated for truly what they deserve.

I was a lurker for a couple years before signing up and still don't post much. Mainly because it takes up a lot of time and there's a lot of rude jack offs who post here. I can honestly say I've been hooked on MMA since 96 when I saw a tape of UFC 2. I purcahsed my first Pride pay per view for the Gran Prix in 2000 and enjoyed it, but always favored the UFC. I like the cage and maybe I'm a little nostalgic. The cage seems more barbaric, and that's part of what I like about MMA.
