Even when I was new to the forums here, the whole belt thing never really bothered me and for those it does, they need to learn how to stand on their own two feet.

The whole white belt situation is almost a 'right of passage' on this forum, or a 'rookie initaition period'. If you know anything about the sport, you should be able to handle yourself fine. I think there would be a lot less bruised white belt ego's, if they used a little wisdom and got a feel of the forum's environment, before running amuck.

For those of you who don't like it, I think you're too sensitive and should go somewhere else. I endured the white belt period just fine and there's no reason for you not to, without resorting to some sort of support thread to deal with the situation.

This is true. I'm a WB that has started maybe 5 threads in the last month but I put them in their proper place. ie; Wasteland, Pictures-Multi Media, MMA Dis.. And yeah, read the FAQ! It's FREE.

That could be lack of interest.

Yea well.. "lurking" doesn't exactly suggest enthusiasm. At least you know when they do post, it's not for a trolling belt/count.

Ty.

Not all, but some of the newb threads feel like a new guy walking into your gym and the first thing he attempts is a flying arm-bar... w/ out even warming up.

Some higher belts generalize and assume all White Belts are idiots. So some white belts generalize and think all higher belts are assholes. It's just the way it is.

Honestly, alot of the time it's guilt by association and isn't MOST white belts fault. I find MOST people here, regardless of belt clolor have valid and knowledgable things to say.

The problem is these new jacks into MMA, not Sherdog creating stupid threads saying Forrest Griffin is the best fighter in MMA, and not showing proper respect to the REAL greatest fighters. They're stuck in their TUF tunnel vision. Others register and act like idiots posting silly stuff and being assholes in general.

If you have something to say and think it's well thought and valid then don't be afraid to post it.
