I think this has a good possibilty of happening and I will tell you why.

In W Silva's interview (on sherdog.com) he specifically askes about Randy Couture IF, Chuck Liddell didnt happen.

Pride has said that they FOR SURE want Silva's opponent to be an American on Feb 24th in Vegas.

MMAWEEKLY.com just announced that Randy Couture is going back to the gym and trying to get into shape....because he has a submission wrestling event next month, on November 17!!!

I am not saying its for sure by any means...but whay I am saying is that its pretty clear Silva vs Liddell is NOT going to happen in the Pride ring on Feb 24th, so who else would be a big draw?
ANd now that Couture is trying to get into shape and taking a submission fight, its sounds like he has been approached about the Pride fight with Silva, and wants to see what kind of shape he could get in, and if he feels he still has what it takes to win a fight with Silva.

These are purely my thoughts of specualation...but I thought Couture would maybe be the person to Silva already...and then with todays announcement about him getting back into shape for this fight....it makes me very curious!!

What do you guys think...?
Think i'm crazy.......we will see...?

Couture has admitted himself that he is still under contract with the UFC for the next couple of years and if he does any more fighting it will be with them. So no Silva vs. Couture.
