I think Babalu earned his rematch, I think GSP earned his rematch. Randy did not really earn his rematch with Chuck, but they knew he only had 1 or 2 more matches left in him, so he got it. Arlovski DEFINATELY did not deserve a rematch and really needs to work his way up the latter now.

So you don't want to see fighters fight again once they lose? So that leaves... Fedor..Diego.. and not much else.

People need to stop using the same stupid ass remarks that they hear on Sherdog.
If I am so stupid, why must you point it out....thank you my master, and please come anytime you fucking homo, suck it!

Well, if you notice, most of the rematches are needed. Yes, it would be nice if someone other than Sylvia or Arlovski fought for the title, but the only other two fighters in that division who are goign to challenge for it are Vera and Monson and neither of them are goign to take out Arlovski and Sylvia which means innevitably they will fight again.

Babalu is 10-0 since his loss to Liddell. Including wins against Horn, van Arsdale, Shogun, and others so its tough to say he doesnt deserve a rematch. Would it be nice if there was not so many rematches yes, however, the rematches are almost all at the top of the bracket and generally for title fights because some loses to the champion (sylvia, arlovski, GSP) and they work their way back up for another shot. Sorry, it happens.

As the depth and talent pool in mma increases there will be fewer rematches but as it stands, the top guys in the division are able to stay on top for years so they rematch frequently. the Nature of the beast. I would rather see Liddell v. babalu 2 then Liddell v. Random Can. Seriously, i would watch rematch after rematch of Chuck v. Cotoure or Arlovski v. Sylvia rather than see any one of those 4 guys endless pummel people who are not at the same level. Blame the lack of talented fighters, not the organizations.

Every great fighter will eventually fight the other great fighters more than once if they both remain in the same org.

Fedor fought Big Nog three times (though the second was a No Contest) and that isn't Fedor's only rematch. He avenged his only loss to Kohsaka. He will eventually fight Cro Crop again, maybe later this year if Cro Crop wins the OWGP.

Speaking of Cro Crop he has fought Fujita twice, Randleman twice, Barnett twice, is fighting Wanderlei a second time and will have another rematch (Barnett a third time or Big Nog a second time) if he beats Silva. Oh and for the record the second fight with both Randleman and Barnett occurred within a year of the first fight.
