Count me in. I'll be the Mac Danzig of this season. I'm clearly better than the competition, but somehow I need to find a way to get a title shot and my official record isn't it.

Gil may have merited that decision. It's hard to say. Ishida won the first round, Melendez won the last. Both had good moments when they were attempting to end the fight, either through submissions or slams. Melendez had a definite striking advantage, but the fight was mostly on the ground. The knee to the head near the end, followed by some more ground and pound by Melendez, would have given him the nod on my scorecard. __________________
