After consulting the thread... I gotta go by the rules: but to make a few things clear first:

Deadline is Thursday, unless you let me you're going to send them in. Both Vokal and Shogunera said they wouldn't make the Thursday deadline, but would have them in before SPC that's fine. Shogunera got his picks in to me before the SPC deadline - and i still don't see Vokals picks anywhere other than on the SPC tale of the tape.

He wasn't ontime, therefor he is disqualified. Simple. No discussion, no ways round it, no get out clauses.

Sorry guys, but that's the way it is! Rules are rules.

Call me a dick, whatever - I don't give a fuck. L Vokal was basically taking the piss, dragging it out and getting every advantage he could. It's not happening.

L Vokal being out is fine with me given the circumstances. However, isn't the usual protocol in the case of a no show to bring in an alternate? I believe Momentus was first alternate.

Capt Ramius was first - and normally he would. If Vokal no-showed then fine, but he dragged it out, said he was going to get his picks in, and now i've really no time to contact anyone. Hence the Thursday deadline. I can't just throw in an alternate without contacting them. I actually had a special alternate lined up, expecting Vokal to no-show, but he said he'd get them in. Sorry man, but he screwed you over.

It's like say, Mir fighting Lesnar tonight, Mir coming out, but Lesnar gets to the cage and says " you know what, I can't be fucked with this, screw yourself". He'd then get DQ'd.

If Lesnar had said a few days earlier that he didn't want to fight, then they would have most likely found a replacement.
