everytime i log onto this site i see nothing but anti-tim threads, it stops NOW!
honestly it really is pathetic how some of you come on here and bash him for such unjust reasons, "the way he looks" or "the way he talks"....
tim is an awesome champ and keeps going from strength to strength, hes training at the best camp out there right now MFS,
& with the determination and dedication he has of course he will continue to improve and grow as a fighter.
hes a top 5 heavyweight at the moment, even the biggest critics should grant him that,
and in my opinion he is the biggest threat to fedor right now in the world.
face it hes a real bad matchup for fedor,
fedor will not be able to take tim down, and certainly not keep him down long enough to apply a submission.
people keep saying on these forums "why didnt arlovski take tim down @ ufc 61" .... well simply because he couldnt, the opportunity wasnt there, tim has learnt his mistakes from Mir and the first fight with AA.
with his reach, very fast powerful chopping counters and an possibly the best chin in MMA, tim is a very bad matchup for fedor.
face it you know its true.
monson wont be able to score a takedown on tim, and if the ADCC champ cant take down tim, what bloody chance does fedor have of doing it?

yea sure hes faced a few good guys (cc, mina) but it always seems to go to a decision, which fedor seems to score by applying his GNP (which he wont be able to do to sylvia)

1 more thing dont compare tim to semmy schilt, a 3 legged dog has better takedown defence than schilt, so dont ever use that as a tool to compare the tim vs fedor matchup.
