Threads like this are so missleading.. always looking like it's a real planned fight, only to find out it's just a question.

aleks would use punches to get into the clinch, and from there it would just be a matter of time before tim gets taken down and submitted

Aleks is a verry good fighter and has good hands, but Tim is not an easy fight for him. I think Tim can upset us with a good highkick.

I really enjoy watching Aleks fight. I think if he crossed to UFC permanently, he would do very well. I don't see much for him in pride, but in the UFC he could become the champ, and remain the champ for a good while.

This guy is a Judo/Sambo specialist. No way is he bad in Submissions or bad on the ground. He submitted Nastsula (an Olympic Silver medal Judo winner). And he's got very heavy and accurate hands. Not many peole realize this but this guy is TALL (stands 6'6) and has a very long reach. This guy would beat Sylvia into a bloody pulp standing up or on the ground.

BTW, If these two fight its starting to sound like Sylvia is too scared to take on PRIDE's Top 1-5 HW's. I personally don't blame him.

Aleks has more crisp boxing, hits harder and a better ground game. Who ever said that Aleks can't beat sylvia due to who he beat is a retard. You rate a top 10 over the quality people they beat, not use it as a reference on whos a better fighter.

Aleks is the #5 or 6 ranked HW in PRIDE. If this fight goes down i'd really start to wonder why Tim isn't taking on guys like Fedor and Cro Cop. That's what i'm gettin at, how hard is that to understand?
