Tim fighting Aleks

i think it just might be an interesting fight
i feel like aleks emelianenko has great boxing skills
clearly his groud game is not very impressive but tim's in
no position to take him down
which will lead to an interesting boxing match
and i think both are hard hitters
i'd give the edge to aleks
any thoughts?

That would be another interesting match-up. I think Aleks has the quicker hands (despite what Tim says), plus Aleks is a tall guy so Tims reach advantage wouldn't be all that much. Tim probably has the better conditioning and would be hard to take down, but if it went to the ground, advantage Aleks, if it stayed standing, tough one to call. I hate Tim so just for fucks sake I would pick Aleks.

Aleks has a good ground game, it's just that barnett has a better one.

wait... his ground game isn't impressive, because he was submitted by Josh Barnett... after he had already injured his hand and completely gassed?

I don't quite understand your logic ( or lack thereof ) in this situation.

Well, you need to attend some classes to improve your composition skills. Aside from that, I like your thinking. Aleks has fast hands, and he will not be bullied by Tim's size.
