After killing CJ Fernandes (14-7-3) at the Maximum Fighting Championships in the first round just now, Ford (6-0) used his victory speech time to slam our boy Hughes. Apparently Ryan was retaliating after Matt insulted him by saying he's a "one-dimensional fighter."
If one-dimensional fighters can reverse a full mount like Ford did tonight, we need more of them.
Ryan Ford beat Pete Spratt in his previous fight by RNC and terminated Fernandes the same way tonight. His biceps are huge--bigger than Matt's and much bigger than GSP's, too. His explosive power is greater than those two UFC fighters, Josh Kosheck, Diego Sanchez, and the rising star Anthony Johnson.
Look out for Ryan "The Real Deal" Ford. Coming soon to an octagon near you. He's about three wins from a UFC contract. No word yet on whether Matt Hughes wants to give him a UFC Initiation.
Ford might be the real deal. I saw his fight on HDNet tonight (and saw his fight against Spratt a couple months back) He seems like he could be a marketable fighter. HDNet rules. If anyone doesn't have it yet they need to get it. I can't wait to watch Dream 3 live on it Sunday. Free MMA in HD is awesome

Wonder when the first " Ryan Ford will own GSP!" thread will pop up?
