Okay, so why did the masterful Shogun satire thread that totally delivered all day on Christmas eve end up deleted and the Ban Wrestling Moves satire thread not get deleted?

Apparently the threadstarters of both got equally banned (R.I.P. southjerzshore - you went out proud) but both threads had:

1. a clearly satirical opening post
2. plenty of people of ALL belt colors not catching the obvious satire and calling the TS everything they could think of.
3. plenty of people of ALL belt colors 20 pages into the thread STILL not catching on
4. a LOOONG list of short bus riders.
5. a bunch of people who, after realizing it was a joke coming back and attempting to do damage control.
6. a bunch of us sitting back and laughing at it all.

Come on, it was all good fun. If you missed the following line from one of the greatest threads ever, then your Christmas eve was way less entertaining than mine:

"If Shogun hadn't lost the fight to Forrest, he probably would've won it."

Seriously, did something happen in that thread that caused it to get deleted that was different than what happened in the "ban wrestling moves" thread?

I had to stop following it late on Christmas eve (somewhere around the 35+ page mark) and didn't get back until late on Christmas and it was gone.

I wondered if something happened that pushed it over the line or maybe enough of the brown belts that got taken down petitioned to get it deleted so there would be no record of it.

Figured I might have missed something...
