I'm not saying he will.
I'm giving him better than no chance.
I'm giving him better than 25% chance.
I'm giving him about a 53% chance.
I'd prefer for BJ to win, because he fights to finish and he looks dominate and destructive when he wins.
I'll take a moment to address what you've asked.
How will Sherk win?
If he does win, it 'd probably by a decision (a UD), if not by that then a TKO in rounds 3-5.
Where will Sherk win?
Points if it goes to a decision. He'll have accrued these points by getting TDs after the second round and continually trying for more dominant positions and chopping away with hammerfists and elbows. Maybe even knees to the body. If BJ gets tired enough then Sherk might even be able to acquire some position and chop away at BJ's head. The ref will say 'gotta move, BJ, gotta move. Defend yourself.' BJ will not manage to and the ref will stop it.
He's only beaten 1 top 10 opponent and he hasn't finished a top guy in his life unless you count 18 year old Karo.
Not a question, but pretty terrible logic.
You don't have to finish to win.
And you don't have to have a history of beating top 10 opponents to beat top 10 opponents.
There was a time where people could point to Fedor and say "he's never beaten a top 10 guy." The same can be said for any number of guys. Rothwell has never beaten a top 10 guy, but I like his chances against some of the guys on the list. Has Filho beaten any top 10 guys?
