Well I'm not going to lie and say I have the worlds most credible source, but I certainly trust the guy. I have a friend who is a student of Cung Le's, I don't know him as a liar. This is what he told me.....the Cung Le vs. Frank Shamrock fight is already a planned work. Expect to see Frank lose in a controversial way to which he will spring right back up and try to debate the outcome. This will lead to a rematch that he wins. This will set up the rubber match which will be an authentic fight.

When I heard it I thought, "No way." But after thinking about it, it just makes too much sense. A) Frank Shamrock loves money and does not try to pretend otherwise B) the Strikeforce is a wonderful org, but there is not question that they struggle to create attractive cards. Now they have the biggest card they've probably ever had and they want to extend it to three fights.

yea i can't believe this is coming from a vet, if this really happens I would be dissapointed, b/c im actually looking forward to a strikeforce fight for once.

Well like I said, I didn't hear it from the mouth of Cung Le or Frank Shamrock or some employee at Strikeforce, but I did hear it from a student of Cung Le. So I'm nervous.

suppose this is true... why would Cung let anybody in on it? why would he tell his students? it doesnt add up to me, but at the same time i wouldnt put it past Frank or Strikeforce

true that, if this is the plan, I hope cung le accidentaly knocks frank into retirement for real.
