There really cant be any other reason than Rickson feared Sakuraba back in 2000-2001 when this would have been "fight of the century".

WHat sense does it make now when Sakuraba (although still a legendary warrior) is hardly on top, and Rickson is 10 years retired.

Also Rickson has a status still as the ultimate jujitsu guy. That said Big Nog is the finest ju jitsu mma and you cannot compare Ricksons skill to his. Big Nog will go down as far better than the Gracies ever were.

not gonna happen, didnt happen atleast 2 years ago, aint gonna happen now.

Rickson would submit him tho. Remember how poorly Sak did againt Royce and vice versa in their second fight? Rickson would have got it to the ground where Royce couldnt.

Very true, I lost alot of repsect for Rickson when this match up never happened, Sak would have kicked his ass, there was no stopping a prime Sak back then. Who the hell wants to see that fight now, and for the money Ricskon was offered, which was a shitload from PRIDE when the fight should have happened, he was shit scared, end of
