Well put. Heart is something someone has to find on their own. If im correct Nog speaks pretty ok english but im not sure if thats good enough for a bunch of random fighters. That may also be a reason why Mir may be better.

Nothing bad against Mir and nothing bad against Nog's MMA BJJ (which is off the charts).

I just believe Nog's greatest strength is something that he was born with and that was refined throughout the fires of his life into a will and heart more solid and unbreakable than any I have seen in all MMA. Ever.

How do you tell a young suburbanite, American kid at his "breaking point" to, "Just keep going! Never give up, no matter what!!!!" ...when the poor kid has NO IDEA what that means in the terms that you're speaking about? It will take 16 TUF competitors to equal Nog's heart.

But he'll teach them good skills, boxing and BJJ. He's as gifted at MMA BJJ as anyone has ever been. Mir's charisma will win the camera time though and my only point was that Nog's bread and butter is not transmutable to others around him.

No disrespect to ANYONE. I love Nog's heart.... and you can't teach that. It's God given and wrought in life.

Nog also has better JJ, standup, and cardio than Mir. And Nog has taught before.

The only thing Mir does better than Nog is wrestling.

I still think Mir will be a good coach, he's a real personable guy, but this matchup fucking sucks. Nog is going to kill Mir.
