It appeared to me that you were unimpressed with the comparison.
Many people are upset with Alex Rodriguez being paid more than the entire Florida Marlins roster. Randy is just making a somewhat similar observation. Notice I say somewhat similar.

Dammit didn't see you write the A-Rod thing first

The demand for mma is growing, and eventually the fighters will make more. I dont think many fighters will ever make as much a NFL or NBA players. Who knows though, in five years the average top level fighter maybe making 3-5 times as much as they do now.

Strangely, and although randy "it$ not all about the money, but have you heard how much everyone el$e i$ making" couture may find this $hocking, there i$ $omething else that all mmarti$t$ did:
THEY $IGNED A CONTRACT AND AGREED TO FIGHT FOR WHAT THEY ARE BEING PAID!!
thi$ $hit with randy i$ $o old, he ought ju$t quit talking about whole thing.
$omehow he i$ ju$tified for breaking a contract he negotiated becau$e of what PBF makes?
he think$ he i$ the che guevara of mma becau$e he punked out fo hi$ contract??
give me a fuckin break.
if boxersd have it $o much better, then be a boxer. dont be mad at dana, be pi$$ed at your high $chool guidance coun$elor for not encouraging you to be a boxer.
boxing and mma are two different sports. its like a plumber bitching because his brother the surgeon make$ money--maybe you ought to have been a doctor too then, genius!!

yeah I think it's b/s how mayweather could make more then the entire ufc roster. To those that have ever had to fight for free would know this, and how crappy that really is it's like for example one fighter in the ufc making 50,000 when he is much more talented then the boxer and the boxer makes 20+ million. It really isn't fair and it honestly makes me want to box then do mma, because its easier to climb the boxing ranks then it is to climb the mma ranks and to climb the mountain of the ufc and only make 60,000 a fight even chuck would only make 500,000+ or so while one boxer makes 20+ mil in one night. C'mon guys how could you not agree. Maybe you'd think differently if you ever got badly injured in an amateur fight for no pay when you could have easily hung with the pros but you get nothing but a beating? That's probably how ufc fighters feel.

I'm getting increasingly sick of hearing morons on here talk about how much fighters deserve.
Fighters deserve what the market wants to pay them. The market does not want to pay MMA fighters what it wants to pay boxers. Sucks for them, but if they care that much about the money, they shoulda picked boxing, or football, or baseball.

no. easily one of the worst posts ever. floyd did wrestlemania to increase his visibility, because the fact of the matter is that his last 2 opponents brought most of the fans to the gate and ppv.
7 or 8 mil out of 20? where did you get that random figure

You're comment about climbing the ranks in boxing being easier are completely bogus because you basically need to have 30 40 fights as well a flawless record before you can even think about making it big, and even then it's still a big if. And while you're doing that you'll be getting shit pay while you're forking over money to whatever club/gym you're with.

Ok, so to put this in non-fighting terms its like you working at mcdonalds for $5.35 an hour, and they pay this other cashier that is less certified to be a cashier then you are $15.00 an hour. Wouldn't that bother you?
