As an European living in the US, I hate that some 70-IQ police officer immediately draws the gun when I am just driving with a little over the speed limit. I fucking hate it. And this power-tripping, trigger-happy behaviour of the police force does NO good to the US's image abroad, nor does it make anyone happy that you get a fire weapon pointed to because your dog pooped on the wrong lawn - not even Americans.

it is common for cops to draw their guns when they have been involved in a car chase. it is also common that car chases are the result of another crime, such as robbery or theft, and conclude with the driver having a gun and shooting at other ppl, themselves, or police. they have no idea what they are dealing with when the guy finally stops (and only because he lost a tire, not because he really chose to).

you guys are freaking out like the cops started shooting at him on sight. in case you haven't heard, being a cop is a dangerous job, and the o.c. is not the safest place.

i agreed with ur entire post until u said that the oc is not the safest place.

it's actually one of the safest and richest counties in the us.

newport, huntington, balboa, irvine, etc. i can go on and on. it's a nice area.
