The ironic thing is that Rampage said that "you don't need that kind of guy representing your company" referring to Jesse's little tirade. What Jesse did was stupid but he didn’t endanger people’s lives like Rampage. I’m very disappointed in this because Rampage seems to be someone who’s cleaned up his life. I know the decision loss was hard on him, but he was still “making the cheddar” and was probably going to get an immediate rematch. Now he’s probably looking at some time in jail.

So true about the Jesse comment....on the show he was saying it wasn't right etc....Forrest didn't comment cause he said he's done stuff before and isn't proud of it....I can't believe Rampage would comment on Jesse like that then pull this crap.

what other felonies does he have? I was thinking, you know, he's probably been in trouble before. If so, yeah, he'll do some time. He'll probably be out in 2 years. By then, I don't think anyone will care to see him fight.

Did he think he could simply get away and not eventually be found. Also, it'll be interesting to see if the UFC will keep him or rip his contract. I think they will keep him, as they probably had more big plans for him and he is still very marketable for them. They are also suffering from a lot talent loss recently, so they don't want any more of their stars leaving for competition.

Also, on a side not. This incident will be a great reference for those talking crap about Kevin Ferguson. The criticisms of how he is bad for the sport, portrays a thug image, taken the sport back 10 years, etc. etc. Enough of that BS now. The UFC poster boy Rampage equally portrays the same thug image with gold teeth, howling like a wolf, walking out with chains, etc. Add this incident where he nearly ran over people trying to run from the police, Rampage clearly takes the cake for any type of stereotype Kimbo haters are trying to attack.

You make some interesting observations. I don't think the UFC will mind the publicity though. Dana White isn't going to do anything to Rampage imo. He makes too much money for them.

I don't think so, can you imagine the gate/buyrates for Griffin/Rampage 2, given everything that's gone down today?

He has (perhaps inadvertently) garnered a pretty decent amount of public attention with this stunt. After all is said and done, he could have more name recognition with the general public than Liddell.
