**Proof TUF is almost over as a series**
So here it is. Dana White has secured Kimbo Slice in a desperate attempt to boost ratings for The Ultimate Fighter reality combat series. This is the sign that the end is near.
This is no different then when ABC executives introduced the character Sam on the show Different Strokes, when Arnold (Gary Coleman), was getting older and lost his cute appeal and the program badly needed rececitation. This is no different then when Jefferson D'Arcy (Ted McGinley, the King of Show killers), was introduced as a new character on Married with Children to jump start the ratings. It never happend. Once a show starts its downward spirial, it's pretty much over.
TUF has gotten stale and predictable. Punkish behaviour and puking. Bickering and swearing. Yeah, yeah, we get it; the Tuffer house is stacked with morons.
The novelty of Kimbo Slice will wear off as quickly as MMA fans jumped off his band wagon when he was KO'd by Seth Petrezelli. Zuffa was unable to lure in prospects like Blagoi Ivanov or deliver on their promise to sign Satoshi Ishii - which wasn't suprising at all, as this was just another Dana White lie. Instead, fans are treated to a fighter with no hope and no future - which is pretty much is the beginning of the end of the show that put the UFC on the map.
