PRIDE Fighters Exposed as Overrated Yet Again
After UFC 86, PRIDE has taken another hit at the hands of the UFC. This event showed once again what hardcore fans who have been following since TUF 1 have known all along, that PRIDE fighters were way overrated. Seriously, now the nuthuggers only have Big Nog to hold onto, and he's only the interim champ. And even still he was getting absolutely crushed by Sylvia before he caught him in that sub.
Other than that PRIDE owns no belts now. And don't try to say Anderson Silva because he had a few fights in PRIDE long before he was in the UFC. Going by that logic W Silva and Henderson were UFC fighters all along since they fought in the UFC first.
I mean Rampage was picked apart by a tuffer who was KO'd by another tuffer. And let's not forget Marcus Aurelio. He was one of the best LW's PRIDE had to offer (beat Gomi twice, second fight was a BS decision), and he was absolutely wrecked by Tyson Griffin, a mid-to-high level fighter in the UFC.
You all better hope Fedor beats Sylvia bad on July 19, cause otherwise the myth of PRIDE superiority will take a final death blow.
