At UFC 81, would anyone take Terry Martin for full/multiple variables?

I've got full support on Eastman.

Sorry, I meant no disrespect. I had edited my post to remove all my UFC 80 picks and wait for the next thread. I guess what I meant was just: Hella, can you create the UFC 80 thread now?

I see you've been chosen as a new moderator. Congratulations! My CT win against you will be much more valuable!!!

Maybe because the two fights arent comparable at all? Even though this comparison is idiotic Ill make it for you since you dont seem to be able to work it out yourself

Wandy was hurting Dan throughout that fight and he was close to finishing him. he threw strikes from all angles including knees, kicks and punches.

Dan got a good punch that stunned Silva for a second and looked worse than it was because it cut him. Then for the rest of the fight did nothing. Dan won maybe one or two minutes of that fight and he lost the rest badly.

Ishida may have landed one effectiove strike but if he did I dont remember it. He won seven or eight minutes of a fifteen minute fight. Maybe nine at the most but he was rarely winning by a lot and his advantages were usually marginal.

For example top position in guard when you are not throwing effectiove strikes is a 60/40 advantage. Dominant posiitons with effective strrike like Silva had on Dan are an 85/15 advantage.

Gilbert won his time by more and did more damage overall. I love stalling from top position but if thats what you are going to do then you have to do it better than Ishida did to merit a decision

It wasn't a direct comparison, so much as anyone that thinks that fight was competitive isn't even worth a reply.

So let me get this straight, Ishida threw one effective strike, yet Melendez did? Umm... okay? I mean... it's not like Melendez was a total cheat, and grabbed the ropes all night... oh wait.... He did.

We are in agreement on Silva/Dan 1

Do you know what you call cheating when it doesn't result in point deductions? smart. It shouldnt factor into the scoring. i think Gil should have been penalized but he wasnt
