Former WWE star and 2009 Hall of Fame inductee Steve Austin will star in Sylvester Stallone's upcoming movie "The Expendables." Sylvester Stallone directs the film and the cast includes Stallone himself, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Danny Trejo, Arnold Schwarzenegger (in a brief cameo), Mickey Rourke, Forest Whitaker, Randy Couture, Gordon Ramsay, Martin Skrtel, Wolf from Gladiators, Dick & Dom, and Charisma Carpenter.

The movie follows a team of mercenaries as they head to South America on a mission to overthrow a dictator.

Austin recently finished filming for "Damage" that is schedule for direct DVD release in January 2010. He also recently signed on for a TV development project."
Wow cool, you got Rambo, the Transporter, Wong Fei Hung, Ivan Drago, The Terminator, Randy the Ram, the Natural, the pissed off British guy from Hell's Kitchen and now Stone Cold. All they need now is Jean Claude Van Damme and Tony Jaa.

I just skimmed through the WWE Encyclopedia and I am definitely buying it soon, off amazon.com where there is a discount. It even has an entry on Mark Young, if anybody here remembers that guy.

There is also a bunch of new WWE DVD releases I want to get including

Royal Rumble 2009
Best of SNME
Greatest Stars of the 90s(comes out Apr 14)

Really? The Rumble is my favorite annual PPV and I love the Rumble match itself but while I enjoyed it more than most seemed to, other than Hardy-Edge which wasn't even THAT great the PPV was pretty average.

That's good news. He sucks as a wrestler.

I didnt order the PPV because I thought HHH would win, so I want to see Randy Orton's victory. Anything was better than the 2008 Rumble.
