JBL might be retiring

ohn Bradshaw Layfield (JBL) is said to have been talking more about an imminent retirement from wrestling due to back problems reports The Wrestling Observer Newsletter. Layfield was overheard saying this past week that his back problems, which is something he has been dealing with for years and ended his initial career for the first time back in 2006, have continued and that his career would probably be over by May.

I've got a question for the dads who post here (mostly Hawk and DD) after witnessing an incident at a ROH show from 2006. Say you go and your kid decides to get involved by booing/cheering. No bigee eh? Well, how would you handle it if your child (under like let's say 13) decided to go full bore and scream "fuck you" at wrestlers, and give them the double middle finger salute? It seems that people who bring their children to wrestling shows are bad fucking parents for letting their six year old talk like a gods damned Marine on leave (they swear waaaaaaay more than Sailors in my experience). It just boggles my mind how many people don't raise their fucking kids with respect these days.

If I had a kid and he started doing that, its time soap met mouth.

Although ROH isn't exactly kid friendly. Larry Sweeney comanding a guy to rape a knocked out woman doesn't strike me as PG.

I think Mickie's work has dropped off pretty bad as of late. Granted its not all her fault as she hardly gets ring time, but she's also put on weight and its dragged her conditioning down and she's gotten into the habit of working a routine like Hogan and Flair did.

Her and Katie Lea should have been an all time classic when they had their PPV title match and Mickie was so out of shape that it was pretty boring because of her lack of energy.
