Nas we need your top 10 for the HOF. pm me when you get them in. Check the thread for the criteria.

HHH is a big Flair mark, but whenever somebody would bring up Flair winning a big match it would be H saying, "You know the guy is 60........" Meltzer brought up a great point about their match a couple of months ago, where Regal interfered and kept Flair from retiring. He said if it was 20 years ago and Ray Stevens was in the retirement angle and Flair was his opponent , Flair would have insisted that Stevens was on the verge of winning, not Flair, as HHH was when the DQ happened. Stevens was Flair's idol and closest comparison-not Buddy Rogers, btw. For the guys who believed what they heard about Flair from bitter guys who didn't last in the business, no top attraction has put over more people than Flair. Every wrestling historian and journalist that I have communicated with says the same thing. So for the Scott Steiners, X-Pac, Kevin Nash's and DDP's of the world not only did he show up in Savannah and Greensboro unlike you guys, he did the job as well.

HHH gets a pretty bad rep for banging the boss's daughter,He was already being pushed to be a main eventer before he started banging steph though, but im sure banging steph though helped him though.I remember during one press conference thing for a ppv(I think they stoped doing those now)a fan asked HHH if he would stop getting the belt so much for respect for flair's record,he said something on the lines of I think Flair would want to me to pass it,with that being said, I still hope it doesn't.

Back in WCW,Vince Russo and Jeff Jarret had an idea of giving the belt to jarret so many times in an attempt to pass flair's reigns,WCW folded though so it never happened.
Russo is the only Booker on the planet (and probably the only person in general) without the last name Jarret that has ever thought JJ should be anywhere near a world title. What a dumbass.

Do they still have Survivor Series? I used to love the survivor series when I was kid. The old school team style.

thats a bust, i love the all around storyline that is the KOTR. some really great matches were held leading up to and in the PPV. plus that was a great way to give someone a push and really give them the opportunity to become a star. kinda like when Austin did his "3:16" speech after winning KOTR. things were never the same for Austin after that night. it brought his charecter to a whole new level

If he is a 16x champ, that means he has put over 16 people in title matches alone. That's prob. more than Hogan in his entire career.

I knew it was a big 4 when I quit watching but they started incorporating some WCW names after the buyout like Great American Bash etc. I was guessing survivor was still around but you never know. They don't have the classic team matches anymore do they?

Edit: Nevermind, I just saw DRH post above me.

It's not entirely fair to compare them that way though. Flair entire gimmick was to put people over. The draw was seeing each territory's chosen hero kick Flair's ass for the NWA belt. Hogan was the opposite. He was the ultimate hero who overcame the evil monster. The draw for him was seeing him beat the odds. Hogan did in fact put people over much the same way Taker does now. He let them beat his ass for weeks leading up to their match, then got the big win at the end to send everyone home happy. 2 different scenario's and you can't look at them the same way...at least not if you're being fair to everyone involved.
