Yeah, I think that was really the best we've seen of him in WWE. He had a weird series with Morrison because they had some absolutely abysmal matches against each other, then they also had two (I think) which have pretty much been the best matches of both men's WWE careers. That's the thing I find with CM Punk, he's really inconsistant. Sometimes he wrestles these great matches and sometimes I think it's a wonder he ever made it out of promotions like CZW.

Although I'll always have some kind of respect for him for giving Super Dragon his best match, haha.

He's so courteous...I can see why he always had a job in the WWF/E. He even asked the interviewer to see if he could cuss. Later he gets a bit thirsty and then before he drinks, he asks if he could drink a beer. Very humble guy...I like him more now. He talks about how green he was even when he was in the WWF and he talks about how he wasn't even ready for the push and how he was pushed because of his looks and he said if he knew more about the business, he would've sat with 'Taker and Santana to know more about what he should've done.
I was mixed about him after the shoot. He seems to not really care or maybe even appreciate the opportunities he got. A good guy, but really didn't seem to value the business. Had no memories of any matches or his career really in the ring.

I wonder what RF and other shoot interviewers pay these wrestlers.

you think less of him because he was professional enough to realize wrestling was a job first and foremost?

I was never that impressed with his wrestling, but his godfather gimmick was way over. He could work the mic as well as anyone in the attitude era imo. Mostly catchphrases, but everyone knew and repeated them with him just as much as Road Dogg, Rock and everyone else who did similar things on teh stick.

Just for starters.
Agree 100%. I have never seen anything outside of WWE, but if he was better, I wish he would go back to the other org and shine again and stay the fuck off my tv every monday.

Styles used to be great and very capable of carrying someone, I think his work now is a combination of not being given oppurtunities in TNA and him being bored in his role. AJ may not be Daniels or Joe but I think he is still damn good.
