As dumb as the Diva Search is I think the million dollar tough enough was worst, why would you guarantee a guy who has never wrestled that much money.

You defend Flair to the depths of the Earth as if he were your father or something. No offense, but that is the truth. I never once said that you lied nor have I insinuated that you lied. It is well known that Bret has never caused a single injury that has kept a wrestler from competing in his next match. As far as Bad News was concerned, he was an unsafe worker who looked out only for himself and it is well documented that Brown was as much a bully as Dynamite.

While you have said I'm name dropping guys like the Funks, Race, and Thesz who all weren't in the loop, guys like 'Taker and Foley were all in the loop and they stated time and time again that Hart was in the right and Vince was in the wrong. So are you saying Mick Foley and The Undertaker weren't in the loop? Much like Ricky Steamboat, 'Taker was one of the very few wrestlers who has almost no enemies in a business where everyone has at least 10 enemies nor has anyone ever voiced any beef about him.

Were you ever in the loop enough to even say that what Bret did was right or wrong? His peers whom he was leaving behind all defended him including the lockerroom leaders like the Undertaker. Deep down inside, even Vince knows he's wrong. If Vince truly believed he was wrong, who are we to say he wasn't? Why do you think he went to confront and apologize to Bret Hart? Why do you think he allowed Bret to punch him in the face?

In Bret Hart's contract, it stated that he had reasonable creative control which stated that in the last 30 days of his contractual period, he would have total control over his "Hitman" character as well as the way in which he would leave the company. That was what Vince gave to Bret Hart since it was Bret who allowed Vince to get out of their 20 year contract and Vince gave Bret those 30 days stipulation.

Who's fault was it for Vince to let Bret keep the title so long when Vince full well knew that Bret's contract was to end in November?

As for wrestlers marking for themselves, none is a bigger mark for himself than Ric Flair. In his book, all he did was quote wrestler after wrestler talking about his greatness just to make himself feel better.

I understand you dislike Bret for saying Flair was an average wrestler but come on. This is the same guy who talked shit about Foley and then attacked Foley for not shaking his hand. Yes, we condone sucker punches like that especially when you rip someone and then they don't shake your hand. All Foley said was that " Flair was every bit as bad on the booking side of things as he was great on the wrestling side of it". Is that so bad? He said Flair was a shitty booker and Flair attacks back by saying he wasn't even a wrestler and wouldn't last a day in Gagne's wrestling camp? If I'm not mistaken, didn't Flair himself say he quit from Gagne's camp twice? I'll be damned if anyone could've made Foley quit.

Seriously, I'm done with this. We all have our favorite wrestlers and we all defend them from time to time but I don't defend Bret everytime someone says something minutely negative about him. As I said before, no wrestler is an idol or role model of mine because they were/are all crappy human beings, some just better than others. If there was one guy who I would defend, it would be a guy like Ricky Steamboat who just took what came his way and never, ever put anyone down and had no problem doing the job, dropping the belt, being on the mid-card, jobbing and what not. Comment and reply all you want, I'm done with this issue, if you hate Bret, that fine. If you believe he was wrong in the Montreal thing (even though Vince showed through his actions that Vince was wrong), go ahead. I don't live for any wrestler nor do I try to live my life for any of them. Wrestling is just a mere hobby of mine and a safe way for me to escape from some of the problems of life. I come here and post just to have fun and I don't want to come here and flame and make people hate me or me hate them. That's why this will be my last post on this issue.
Calm down there,Whats that a page or two ?Also Foley took a lot more shots at Ric but they had to be edited down because it seemed too hateful, foley even mentions that in his second book I think it was.I also don't think foley could make it in verne's camp,I love Foley but what went on there was real tough, and Flair himself tried leaving about 3 times even.Verne trained great athletes mostly and Flair had to even convince Verne to get in.No doubt though Bret is a top ten of all time guy,and could have a strong arguement for the best there was and the best there is and the best there ever will be.Also,Just about any guy considered in the top 20 GOAT will tell you they are the best,Bret or Flair.

I agree but its more similar to how the TUF contract is,the million dollar tough enough contract was like 250,000 each year for four years with the option of terminating the contract after the first year, so only the first 250,000 is for sure, but yeah still not worth it.

Was there a point of stripping the Undertaker of the title when he is going to be in a championship match at the PPV anyway?

It would be fun to bang Traci from behind while she had her face buried in ODB's box.

When that contest was announced, RVD asked if he could try out for it since most of the guys in the locker room werent making that kind of money.
