Steamboat's shoot was alright. He's too nice of a guy to really shoot though lol.

Honkytonk Man is a dellusional prick, but it makes for entertaining interviews.

I agree, I think that is why Steamboats' character worked for so long, it was an extension of his own personailty. I guess that is why he is one of the most respected individuals to ever grace the squared circle huh?

And the more I think about it, the more I think HTM was a fucking prick, to hold the IC title above the WWF title, and the guitar smash amongst other things, what a prick...but he makes it sound amusing in his interviews though, doesn't he?

Yea, Steamboat is really nice and so far he really hasn't buried anyone except by saying that Tully Blanchard was "hard to work with" and "I just wanted to slap him at times"...and coming from Steamboat, that means that Blanchard must've been a total dick.

Yeah I remember the only two people he really didn't speak well of were Tully and Dusty. He still has some bitterness towards Dusty for how he was booked but its subsided for the sake of his job.

Do you remember what I said about Blanchard when I met him at an indie show? Classic asshole....

But you can understand right? Dusty was booking, and Ricky felt like he wasn't being used properly....at least it all turned out well in the end.

I remember one of his shoots he talked about how WWE wanted him to come in and do a job for Randy Orton on Raw when Orton was starting up his Legend Killer gimmick as IC champion while building to his match with Foley.

HTM went into a whole shpeil about how he should've gotten more money and a 4 month run with Randy Orton before putting him over. It was one of the more ridiculous things I've ever heard.

I totally sided with Steamboat on the issue. He was right in how he'd always go to 20 minute broadways with Tully and would have to beat him in a non-title overtime, and then in Tully's next program he's jobbing for Dusty in a third of the time. It made Steamboat look weak.
