The mama story was horrible. Supposedly Shelton himself came up with it, so I guess I can't feel too bad for him.

It was a really, really bad storyline - but at least it made him relevant. Guess creative is agreeing to idiotic storylines.

She didn't start off the oxygen tank, but yeah there were a lot of sketchs done with it,I remember one very slightly, like Shelton was introducing his mama to people and he left her alone for a minute I think, and then she started talking to Val Venis, and somehow I think it was brought up that hes a movie star, and she asked what movies he was from, and he listed spoofs of movies like, Shaving Ryan's Privates. It wasn't that bad though and was getting over some, the only reason it ended was because the actress who played mama had some sort of sugery and was out and never came back.

It was somewhat short lived though lasting for a couple of months, but the overall line is,Shelton was being used as a jobber at that point, at least it got him another push and and got him another IC Title reign. Its hard for somewhat talented people without too much charisma to get a push so I didn't mind it like some.

I've always thought that some guys can do incredible things without saying a single word, like Sabu or Taz. I don't know why they continue to want to have people talk when their actions CAN speak for them.

And hell no. Mayweather's too rich to wrestle.

Benjamin was great in the silent badass role he played against Evolution. He didn't say all that much, and just put on good matches. He was like a 21st century version of Benoit's character.

Sabu was great for the non speaking role, but Taz did speak, but he did it in a great way for his character, just as like the toughest thing you could ever see, just the way he said that very rememberable line "Sabu,I'm gonna choke you out!"

but in today's wrestling world,I liked Benjamin best during his first IC Title run.

What do you think his mania match will consist of then?. I figured that he woulda have been doing a tonne of wrestling training in the last couple of months and that they might have had him squash some jobber tonight, to kinda legitimise him for his match with the Big Show.

He hasn't really trained at all. So far, he's just had someone his size going over what's expected of him with Show while he watches to get an idea of what to do. I forget who was his stand in now that it's come up.
