I'm joking. But they are lucky. The travel schedule just 10 or so years ago was absolutely horrendous for wrestlers.

With the higher impact style they work these days, they'd all be crippled by 35.

What's your take on enhancement talent, aka jobbers? I actually miss them, since it used to be a treat to see star vs star. Also, it was entertaining to see guys get built up and what moves they would use.

I don't want to see them in every televised match like back in the day, but they serve a useful function in a match or two on a show.

Not really. It all depends. I always wonder how guys like Misawa, Kobashi, and Taue wrestled for 20 years with their brutal style and are still walking around fine. The WWE style is nothing compared to the style of the top Puro stars.

So Regal's performing the ole British Bulldog role of appealing to the home fans.

Don't the **** work kind of in seasons? Like they go for a few weeks of shows at a time and then they're off? It's still ridiculous, but I thought they got plenty of rest.

One thing i found phenomenal about the Japanese style as well was the ring stiffness. Apparently, Japanese rings offer nothing in terms of support. They are like planks of wood. The WWE has always had a reputation as real soft

I have to think that those guys are the exception rather than the rule. I mean look at how many guys are walking around these days with fused necks.
