The thing with that match was more the emotional investment in the characters than the actual spectacle of the match itself. Going in to that match no one though Hardy had any chance of beating Taker. Everyone expected a one sided squash. Yet by the end of it, they sucked you in to where you actually believed Hardy was going to win. That's why that match is remembered so fondly. It was the emotional investment the match brought out, not the technical brilliance. Kind of like Hogan-Andre, just less epic.

TNA:
Sharmel has nice tits.
Karen Angle has nice tits.
Who's tits are bigger, Selena or Traci Brooks?

Velvet Sky is hot, but Angelina Love should have received the title shot.

Get rid of the Super Eric gimmick.
Booker is a better heel than face.

I always thought that match was overrated. HBK-Flair was much better to me. There have been a lot of great matches in the last few years but I'm not sure how many I would call classic. I really enjoyed the Shelton Benjamin-HBK match on Raw in 05 I actually thought Shelton was going to take that match,

Is Consequences Creed supposed to be Apollo Creed just because his name is Creed? Good thing Billy Gunn isnt using that name anymore or Vince Russo would give him a Tommy Gunn gimmick.

Pro Wrestling needs a new set of Smokin' Gunns and Young Pistols.

I miss WCW. This was where I used to go to see show reports when I couldn't get to see them: DDT Digest

I'm not saying every fucking Kane segment was gonna outdraw the match. I was saying showing Kane carry around a bag for 5 segments probably got a little attention. Even though sPunk is the "champ", everyone who watched the show knew he was jerking the curtain at the top of the hour rather than main eventing the show he holds the belt for. It is not that unlikely that people turned channels to check out something else and tuned back in to see what was going on.

It's funny seeing people talk about ratings though. I guarantee the same 3 sPunk supporters talking about what a draw he is would be saying you have to give him a few weeks as champ and then see what the ratings are if he was pulling a 1. So that will be my stance. If he gets any decent ratings after a couple more weeks I will re-evaluate how much I think he sucks. Right now he swallows. Who knows, down the road maybe he will just suck.
