matt deserves it just as much as anyone else. i feel he has proved himself since coming back the first time, and has gotten decent on promos. plus his work rate isnt to shabby. i just hope that he doesnt have to much ring rust when he comes back. but he is working house shows so im sure thats helping with that

That would work for Kennedy. I still don't see him as a main event guy, but he could certainly be elevated to the uppermidcard with Jericho from it. Matt just doesn't have the promo skills to get above the upper midcard, or at least I don't see it. I like the guy, but he just doesn't scream supperstar to me. Jeff has more of that intangible "it" factor, but he can't stay clean.

Matt Hardy might make it up there, but the shouldn't be there now, which you're sort of suggesting. Jeff has had 2 chances to get elevated and both times his own problems have set him back. You can't anyone but himself for that one. Shelton you could make a case for.

If you have to go rank to rank,I'd think Kennedy might be higher up right now with being a mid carder on raw compared to Shelton who was being used a jobber since seen on RAW last,no offence to fans of the new ECW, but its the C Show.

Would be a good feud.
Watched a little of the HHH dvd today, maybe a slight shot at Marc Mero in the little bit I watched, Its like the Stone Cold dvd, where they do like a small minute interview and talk about things then show a match. He was asked who he learned the most from and he said grudgedling it would have to be Marc Mero because with Mero he was forced to have to be a ring general.I wouldn't take it so much as a shot though, because its been heard plenty of times from different people.Mick Foley told in his first autobiography that he told Vince he rather miss out on maina then work with mero or something on those lines.

I didn't mean Shelton was higher, just that he could have had a higher spot than he does now if he hadn't gotten derailed after the Evolution fued.

Indy guys abusing finishers was what led to me stopping going to see my local indy fed. Remember Kidman vs Chavo (I think) where Silver King and Psicosis ran in and gave him their finishers (along with Chavo), yet Kidman kicked out of all three? One match I watched at my local fed was along those lines, with the eventual winner kicking out of every bastard hard Indy/Japanese finisher you could think of, including a Canadian Destroyer. The entire crowd loved it. Except me, who hated it.

i dont think finishers should be kicked out of unless its a PPV. when it happens on free shows it takes away from the "magic" of kicking out

great debate guys. Hogan is Hogan. The biggest figure this sport has ever seen. Jobbing should be rare just to protect the commodity---not just from Hogan's point of view but from the promoters. That being said, any wrestler getting creative control is a bad idea. Hogan killed a lot of great angles including the best of three series with Flair when Hogan joined WCW. Flair was supposed to win the second match but Hogan nixed it (the first one was the one where Shaq was theer and even with brass nucks and interference from Sherri, Hogan still won. Flair was supposed to beat Hogan in the second match, by dubious means of course that would have protected Hogan. Hogan nonetheless gave Flair a cheap coutout victory even with pre match interference from Arn. The part that sucked was that Hogan was going to win two out of three anyway and win the battle of the all time greats. He could have dropped the second match. But really, he should job rarely. all the all time greats jobbed rarely. Bruno never lost unless he wanted to. Same with Thesz, Rikidozan and others. In an historical sense Hogan jobbing was in line with other all time greats who drew a ton of money but not Hogan money.

Even on PPVs it annoys me, as everyone seems to do it these days. It's as bad as ref bumps. Or run-ins in TNA.

Top rope moves are the worst abused ones. Now you can get hit with a 720 degree corkscrew inverted flying spring board whatchamacallit and be fine 30 seconds later.
