Because they can get way more advertising dollars from bullshit companies that market to teenie bopper girls watching a crap show like gossip girl that never breaks a 1.0 than they can for Smackdown which draws a over 2 always, but is watched by guys 18-34 who generally speaking come from the lower tax brackets. Why do you think Raw as prempted for so many years for the West Minster dog show? It was n't for the ratings, it was for the huge advertising dollars they could get for upperclass advertising aimed at the upper tax bracket people who actually watch dog shows.
