It's true to a degree: there was a point at which Machida actually ran back wards almost the entire diameter of the octagon. We heard Rogan stating how intelligent it was, using words like "elusive" etc. and I won't argue that, but as long as he employs that defensive tactic he will always garner criticism.

and its not that his fights are boring, he just needs a litle more spark on his agresion, becuase obviously he does have an offense... its just a patient one

Tito got mauled in that fight, take a look at both their faces. Machida has not a scratch and Tito's looked like a meat grinder.

He's definetly a good fighter but I think he'll can easily be beat by a guy willing to sit back like he does and just be content to squeak out rounds...he's like the red wings in hockey, he gets a lead in round and will sit back and if the guy presents a opening he may take it (briefly) and but doesnt think KO first.

people watch the ufc for entertainment. Lyoto Machida is not entertaining. He is the most boring fighter i have ever seen.
